StormAudio ISP Core 16

With a design based on the award-winning StormAudio ISP Elite platform, the ISP Core 16 is a sleek, compact and high-quality option that delivers StormAudio’s signature functionality and performance in a 3U chassis.

Designed and manufactured in France, the ISP Core 16 supports up to 16 channels and has the DSP power to decode all current immersive formats (Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, IMAX Enhanced) and provide post-processing to optimize each speaker for each room – right out of the box. It includes the latest Dirac Live Active Room Treatment module for easy and accurate room calibration, supports up to 20 PEQs per channel and can drive up to four active crossovers and any number of subwoofers.

The ISP Core 16 features a refined, minimalist design with a new 5-inch color display that provides access to a variety of information, such as real-time multi-channel VuMeter or HDMI signal details, for a quick overview of important data. The ISP Core 16 can be controlled with a variety of tools, from the included IR remote control to home automation systems or the Android/iOS app available on smartphones or tablets. Our credo is to create powerful products that are simple to use and easy for the customer to set up; the ISP Core 16 is no exception, it comes with StormAudio’s intuitive user interface and user-friendly Speaker Configurator.

Based on the design of its big brother, the ISP Elite, the ISP Core 16 delivers the same audio performance with the same DAC portion and proprietary analog/digital hybrid volume control that maximizes dynamic range for more accurate, detailed and dynamic playback of your movie soundtrack or music playlists.

Although the ISP Core 16 does not offer modularity, upgradeability of the HDMI board is still possible, so you can always stay up to date as new updates are released. An optional firmware package is available to enable additional features: StormXT Ambiance Expander, Expert Bass Management, flexible bass routing and HDMI matrix functions.
